If a customer contacts you with a request to have all future SMS appointment notifications stopped, this can be accomplished in 2 ways.

1) The customer can text STOP to the number that initially sent them the SMS appointment reminder. The customer will be subject to standard SMS messaging fees as set by their carrier.

2) Within the menu bar, go into Customers  Customer List. Locate the customer and click "View". Once in the customer's profile, click "Update Customer". Within the form, unselect "send SMS notifications?" and click "Save".

'Send SMS reminders?' is a master switch that controls whether or not a customer can be sent SMS appointment reminders. Regardless of what the customer indicated on past online bookings, if this switch is disabled, he or she will not receive any SMS notifications for future appointments.
